St. Joseph Novena

O St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the Throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires. O St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession and obtain for me from your Divine Son all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, Our Lord; so that having engaged here below your Heavenly power I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most Loving of Fathers. O St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms. I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine Head for me, and ask Him to return the Kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, Patron of departing souls, pray for us.

Amen

ART

Art 1 for Young Catholics, published by Seton Press, provides crafts that revolve around the liturgical year.  It has helped enrich how we celebrate the faith in our home.  Some of the projects we have enjoyed making are:  a Presentation of Jesus shadowbox, a Last SupperDisplay, a stand-up Guardian Angel and Jesus in the Tabernacle.

Art 3 for Young Catholics, published by Seton Press, contains 28 projects using various mediums (foam, clay, paint and paper) and a small section on Art Appreciation.  In order to guarantee that we do all of the projects I purchased the necessary materials from JoAnns and placed them in a tub marked Art 3.  Thus far, Catherine has made a mask, a frame, flowers and a rubber stamp.  Some of the finished products would make nice gifts for relatives.

Remember that education is a matter of the heart. Let us use all means to become master of that fortress which locks itself off from all severity and harshness. Let us make ourselves loved, and we shall see hearts open to us with surprising ease.
